Gandaki Travels is committed to fair and transparent refund policies. This policy outlines the terms under which refunds are processed for cancelled bookings, amendments, or service deficiencies.
Refunds for tour cancellations initiated by the traveler are calculated as per the following schedule:
Note: Flight tickets, visa fees, insurance premiums, and third-party service charges are non-refundable in all cases.
During peak travel seasons (December holidays, summer vacations, Diwali, and major festivals) and for specially discounted packages, the cancellation policy may be stricter. Please refer to the specific package terms provided at the time of booking.
If one or more members of a group booking cancel, the refund for the cancelled members will be calculated as per the refund schedule. The remaining travelers may need to pay any difference in group pricing if the group size falls below the minimum threshold.
If we cancel a tour due to insufficient participation, operational reasons, or unforeseen circumstances, you are entitled to:
The choice of the above options rests with the traveler. Refunds will be processed within 10 working days.
If you experience a genuine service deficiency during the tour (such as a significantly lower category hotel than booked), you must report it immediately to the tour manager. Partial refunds for verified service lapses will be processed within 21 days after completion of the tour, following a thorough investigation.
Travelers who fail to arrive for the tour departure ("no-show") are not entitled to any refund. This includes missing flights, delayed connections, or failure to obtain necessary travel documents in time.
For cancellations due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government-imposed travel bans, extreme weather), we offer:
In such cases, refunds are processed after we receive refunds from our partner hotels, airlines, and service providers.
In case of any dispute regarding refunds, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mutual discussion. If unresolved, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in our registered city as per Indian law.
